"Very nice hotel, the male host is a little different but very kind, perfectly serviceminded. Dinner was very well prepared and tasted magnificent. The morning esperience was opposite: The buffet is below standard. Very cheap food, not fresh, dry cheese, cheap bread - and a female morning manager who was grumpy, didn't get up from behind her desk, and just pointing in a "do it yourself"-manner when asked for service."

I found a 15x10 cm cobweb under one of the radiators, but otherwise the room was clean. The bathroom was completely out of paper towels at the time, but I could use toilet paper instead. If you stay for 2 nights you can skip housekeeping and get a 4 Euro voucher, only valid in the bar. The biggest disappointment was that when I booked through Hotels.com, the page...

"Unbelievable experience!! Loved everything about this castle… if you want to stay in a 750+ year old castle with unbelievable staff, stay here! Restaurant was great, food amazing… Ano (not sure if I spelled it right) and his wife (and staff) were unbelievably accommodating. Highly recommend staying here! Definitely worth the trip and money… can’t wait to come back!"
