"We had a fantastic stay! Our room was large, comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff was so kind and helpful. On our last morning we had to leave for the ferry before breakfast but Veronica made us yogurt with granola and fruit and sent more food along with us for the ferry ride. "

"The owner here, Branco, is a great guy and very helpful. The only problem is that the property is about a mile or so from the Hvar Old Town so you either have to rent a car or walk the whole distance, which isn't terribly safe. The hotel has two small swimming pools but nothing was entirely open when I stayed there in late April. Apparently, things really heat up during the summer where I imagine there are more things to do."

"The view from the room is lovely. The kitchen has the basics, plenty for breakfast and lunch. Without a car, there are many, many steps from the town center to the apartment. The landlord was exceptionally knowledgeable. Our ferry was cancel because of wind. She drove us across the island to the port where the car ferry was running. "

"This was a perfect location for a visit to Hvar if you don’t want to be on the beach. We were amongst all the historical and beautiful cobblestone streets and within steps of the waterfront, the old city, etc. Hvar is not very big, so everything is easy to get to. The room was small, but efficient. There was a decent size closet and a small desk, and the bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was lovely on the outside patio. "We spent 9 nights here. I can’t say enough great things about the staff here. Especially the wonderful couple who run the restaurant for breakfast. They made us the most amazing breakfast every morning. Above and beyond all expectations. It really made it feel comfortable like home. It is a family run establishment and they really go out of their way to help and make your stay special. The Dela is located up a hill just out of town but the family are always on hand to pick you up or drop you off.
