"An exceptional hotel and beautiful seafront setting. The standard of food, facilities and service were all excellent."

"The hotel is located on a beautiful part of the island and the highlight was the private seating by the beach bar. Very peaceful and scenic. The food was not great. The Zatar restaurant was the exception and was an excellent dinner. The shades in the rooms are not darkening at all. It feels like you are sleeping outside once the sun is up. Also we switched to a sea facing room bc the traffic on the city view side kept us up. The kids did enjoy the slides and the entertainment."

"Awful. I would strongly warn people against staying here. I made the booking weeks in advance and upon arrival was told that I’d have to go elsewhere for the first night. I was told there was a problem with the rooms which was a lie. I found out that the hotel overbooked hence had to send numerous people elsewhere. I was taken to a hotel with an inconvenient location with nothing around, I’m appalled by the lack of structure and devotion to its customers. I’ve also historically stayed at Alvida...

"The room we were allocated was filthy dirty with the mattress being totally stained a ripped and could not be slept on. We had to be accommodated in alternative accommodation as was not in a condition to sleep in."

"This was our third stay in as many years and things have definitely slipped, I’m afraid to say. Food: the biggest disappointment. Undoubtedly to cut costs, the options have slimmed down. Forget salmon at breakfast and don’t get me started on the Greek salad where they seem to have forgotten two key ingredients (olives and onion would you believe it?)
