"Because of the Marathon thru the Avenue of the Giants was this weekend, it was very hard to find a room. This was the only place available and even though the rates were extremely high, we were pleasantly surprised with the property and staff. the early breakfast was an added benefit before we hit the road to the Redwood National Parks. I would stay there again if in the area. Front desk staff was very helpful."

"Nice historic building in the center of town. Very nicely maintained and the staff are quiet but friendly enough. The back of the hotel can get noisy with nightly alley mini parties. Our bed was basically U-shaped and we struggled to not roll into the middle of the bed. That was our only complaint. Parking is excellent and there’s a very good sushi restaurant in the lobby. There’s also a good number of places to eat around the plaza and in the surrounding neighborhoods."

"Actually the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The plastic plants and flowers are cheesy, and the host was mediocre. The place was way over rated!"

"Our room was not clean. There were french fries on the floor and leftover socks under the bed. There were also random pills in the corner. Some people may be okay with a virtual front desk attendant but I found it weird. I feel uncomfortable knowing that there wasn’t a person I could physically go to if something went wrong. The door also got jammed many times. There are plenty of other hotels on this street you could go to that are probably better. The room wasn’t cheap enough to justify the...

"The room was very clean and spacious very updated. We use the laundry facility and it was very nice. The breakfast area was well stocked your normal hotel breakfast."

"We loved our stay, the rooms , lobby, pool area and barbeque area were well maintained and user friendly. We had our small dog and there was plenty of areas to walk her. The staff was extremely nice and friendly."
