"Just enjoyed the perfect overnight stay and this great motel and diner. The restaurant is cute, very clean and provides super delicious meals, all supported by friendly efficient service. Definitely take the excellent breakfast before starting the day. The bed was extremely comfortable with clean, crisp cotton sheets for a good nights sleep. The shower was also very good. All very reasonably priced. A big thanks to John for looking after us so well. Highly recommended"

"While we did like the location, the cabin we stayed in needed a good cleaning. we never realized until we went to bed that the sheets hadn’t been changed. The office was closed so we just used our sleeping bags as we have them along with us. I wanted to talk with the front desk person when we left but the office was closed again, so never got a chance to. We have stayed in many motels on our cross Canada trip. The price for the night was about $50 more than we’ve paid for much nicer...

"Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was quite comfortable. Not much of a view from rear facing rooms. Check in was easy, staff were pleasant and friendly. The restaurant was a complete let down. Not 100% sure it is part of the hotel. Will review the restaurant separately. Very convenient underground parking."

"This is a 2 star hotel not a 3. Everything from the breakfast, fitness room, bed linens, TV, Coffee maker, shower, are barely acceptable. I will say the upside is the rooms are spacious and clean. For the price I paid I felt the value wasn't there."

"Expedia customers rarely get main-floor rooms. Not surprisingly, my room was on the 2nd floor. I am a senior and asked for a main floor room as there is no elevator. That request was declined. I asked for assistance with my luggage up the stairs to the 2nd floor. That was declined."

"Dirty unclean, no blankets. Unresponsive staff for heating. Luckily I was moving and had a small heater in the car. Busy body staff don't want to get out of the office and his bedroom behind front desk."
