"We were happy to have a clean place to stay but due to being very early in the season there was no restaurant as indicated, it was closed! Water took a very long time to warm up. The room was ready for us as stated. Key was where it was supposed to be. No chair to sit on inside or outside."

"Staff were super helpful and efficient. Room was large, nicely updated and clean. Only slight downfall was its location being on a busy road so you can hear some road noise and the town is quite spread out so it’s not near downtown. For a night or even a couple nights I would definitely recommend staying here."

"Insanely uncomfortable pillows. Too soft, head sunk down and was like there was no pillow at all. Parking lot was very small and cramped and not in great condition. Everything else was pretty good. Very friendly staff. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was ok. Fresh fruit, cereal, bread/toast, make your own waffles, French toast, boiled eggs."

"The Ambassador is a charming motor lodge a la the 50’s. Lovely green space and they take pups. I will definitely be back. Stay here and dine at Giovanni’s for super Italian food. Recommended by the charming host. She is delightful. "

"The security deposit is not just 100 per night, they upcharge you when you get there. For 2 nights I paid 500 security deposit. The pools is incredibly small as well."

"You can tell the ownership cares about the place and is trying to make a good go of it buy they certainly have challenges. It was a big old school full-service hotel from different times so it is a lot of square footage to maintain. The lobby and rooms are very clean but it is getting dated - and the price reflects that. The room was spacious but it has a 32" TV with no HD signal. Watching hockey was not good. This hotel used to have a big restaurant that probably made decent money. Now, it is...

"Most comfortable bed! Can park my car next to front door of cottage. Friendly staff family business. Clean room, plenty of space. Has fast food restaurants near by. "

"Rooms are clean, beds comfortable. A little dated. Two floors, no elevator or luggage carts so if you have mobility issues ask for a ground room. Breakfast was pretty good."

"The room was clean with a seating area and pseudo-fireplace. Staff at the desk, the cleaning, the breakfast folks all personable, friendly and engaging."

"Carpet in the hall on the third floor was loose, making it difficult to wheel a suitcase. Beds are firm - good for me, not so much my daughter who prefers softer bed. Also sad that the indoor hot tub still isn’t repaired. We did like having the restaurant right there. Over all an enjoyable stay and will use them again."
