Place is so lonely at night as shops and malls at surrounding areas are basically closed. Better to just stay in.

The hotel is clean and it is quiet. The massage is located at level 2, after the massage, we can go back to our room to rest. I like the convenience of Eska massage located at level 2. The staff are nice and friendly. Recommended to stay there.

Eska Hotel
Overall not too bad. The breakfast is reasonable for the price. They also have a free flow welcome drink (usual syrup beverage) counter at the lobby. The spa in the hotel is great. Many shops in the immediate surrounding area are close down due to COVID, but there are some spa outlets, a conveniet shop, and a couple of restaurants within walking distance that are in business. Very close to Padang Golf course.

Comfortable Stay
Great amenities surrounding the hotel. Breakfast food was average. Cleanliness was superb. The Housekeeping staff named Yadi did a great job with the upkeep of the room. Thanks!

Room Reeked with Cigarette Smell
We booked 2 Superior Room Twin Bed Non Smoking for 28 to 29 Sep. Upon arrival, we are offered a free upgrade for one of the room to Deluxe Room with 1 Queen Size Bed. To our horror, the room was located on a Smoking floor Room No 323 and the whole room reeked of cigarette smell, including the shower curtains! We asked for a change of room but was told they are fully booked and only offered us a can of air fresherner. We are totally disappointed with the room provided, which made us very uncomfortable throughout the night and even our clothes reeked cigarette smell after we left the hotel.

Hotel is cozy with rain shower and flat screen TV. I was staying on 5th floor and 6th floor is beer garden. Noisy at night due to people dragging furnitures around.

I like the spa downstairs and the service is excellent but the cheap quality dispenser in the bathroom in the hotel kept dismantling each time we tried to pump out the shampoo or bath gel.

Not a good stay
Booked 3 King Deluxe Room 3D2N. They gave the rooms in level 4 and 5. The hotel room interior looks beautiful and the bathroom was huge. However, The room was very dim with a few spotlights. -The first night there were loud knocking banging @2plus am (Batam Time) for at least 20mins. I was too afraid to walk out and check. - And around 3plus No water supply. (Both level 5 & 4) - I called the receptionist counter for many times no one picks up, so I went down. And, There Isn't anyone. I supposed it's a 24-hour reception service? - There's water at around 4plus and in dirty brown color. - The Roof Top food portion is extremely small and more costy. The lighting are very dark.

A good place to go for relax
1st time in Batam and stay in ESKA. All the staffs here are pleasant and always put on a friendly SMILE. The place is transquility and surrounded with many food to eat. The massage session are good and refreshing.

Weekend break with Friends
Room was not ready when we arrived n we were told to wait for half an hour but otherwise was a comfortable stay. Counter staff n cleaner were polite n helpful. Carrefour is just opposite the hotel n a few Eateries ate nearby too. Will be back again

Don't go
The only attraction worth seing here is the Budhist Temple. Public transport is horrible if not non-existent. Grab is for some reason "illegal". Taxis don't use the meter but instead there is an over priced tarrif. There are so much small motor bikes that don't adhere to the traffic order. One great thing though is that everything is cheap compared to Singapore. The hotel is OK. Good option for a budget traveler. It's in front of a mall so you can pick up all the things you need there. If you are comming/leaving on a weekend, contact the front desk as there is a free shuttle service.

Nice hotel near to hypermart Carefour
A quite area, not as busy Nagoya Hill. Very near to carefour, shop houses eg; karaoke lounge to Barber shop. The hotel has a spa next to it. Variety of package to choose from some are with hotel stay too.

Good massage but location so-so
It's a straight forward hotel no gimmick or extra amenities. Location is quite near to batam center but no free transport on weekdays, so had to cab to hotel from ferry terminal on friday. But Spa massage was good, would come back for massage or visit other outlets instead of coming back.

A comfortable stay.
Spent a night at Eska after a day at a spa. Check in was super quick and no fuss. Booked a standard room with a comfy kingsize bed. Toilet is clean and everything is well. Breakfast is satisfactory though not much of a fabulous spread. Overall happy with my stay and would come back again.

Hotel 5 min walking to shopping mall
Take note we are using Indonesia timing. Stay at Eska Hotel from 23/4 to 24/4(Mon-Tue) with breakfast. We reach Batam ferry terminal around 1.10pm. We were asking around for taxi finally we agree to settle with, 80,000 rupiah (around S$7.60) to Eska Hotel. Driving there took around 15 - 20 min. Check in was a breeze. Paid a deposit of 200,000 rupiah. Then proceed to book the massage at level 2. We book a 3hrs massage spa for 1,760,000 rupiah for couple consist of body massage, body scrub, jaccuzi, hair treatment or facial. Husband said the massage is good. We got good massage therapist. They gave us a complimentary free ride back to ferry terminal and gave me a lifetime membership. We ate dinner at the nearby shopping mall(kapri mall) Conveniently located in front of the hotel and good thing is that its Halal. Both of us ordered kangkong, steam fish small, salted chicken, fried eggs and avocado drink total cost S$25 dam cheap and very nice. Next day breakfast buffet at the hotel was good compare to Biz Hotel. They have bake beans, potato wedges, mix fried vegetables, fried sweet n sour fish, fried bee hoon(the best), fried rice, eggs station where they fry eggs according to what you want, a mini salad bar, porridge, Indonesian kueh, bread section, cereal section, coffee/tea and cordial juice.
