"The guesthouse provided an excellent stay. The room was spacious and well-appointed, complete with high-quality amenities. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night. The small kitchen and well-stocked minibar added a convenient touch to the stay. "We had a marvellous time at Caracal Lodge. It was a wonderful away from it all experience. Magtree Cottage was very comfortable and well equipped even though there is no electricity, power being supplied by gas appliances, paraffin lamps and LED lighting. It was magical to wake up with views of the resident giraffe family as well as zebra, impala, horses and a pet pig! Outside there was a braai, fire pit in a lovely shaded area and a small pond. Exploring the 300 hectare game park there...
"Only stayed one night and enjoyed it thoroughly. They accommodated a last-minute request for dinner, which was very tasty and delivered to my room. Breakfast was very good as well. The staff was very friendly and responsive, and they have a very sweet dog (Mango) whose visits made the stay even more "
