"Spotlessly clean and walkable to nearby restaurants! Note: Rooms facing the square get quite a bit of night noise from local musicians and performers. Highly recommended, but light or early sleepers may want to request a room away from the front."

"Marina Rio is in a great location right by the marina and a short walk to “old town Lagos”. Everything you need is within walking distance or a short uber ride. There is a parking lot right beside the hotel which is also very reasonably priced, 5 euros/day. There is also a rooftop pool, which is great, if you just feel like taking a bit of time to relax and unwind. Check in was a breeze and the staff are friendly and attentive."

"This is a great place. The rooms were clean, the neighborhood quiet but walking distance to the walled city and the historical downtown. Having breakfast on the terrace looking at the sea was delightful. The staff was fantastic. Rosa and her colleague went above and beyond making sure I was comfortable. "We had a huge apartment with kitchen, living room, and balcony. The space was immaculate and clean. Daily cleaning was also provided. The poolside breakfast was also delicious and picturesque. We loved this location to walk to all the beaches and cliff views. We took a taxi into Lagos (about 1 mile away) a few times and walked back to the apartment after dinner. Enjoyed the pool one afternoon which was quiet and very well maintained. Free, secure parking too!"

"I’ve stayed at this hotel many times, but this recent trip, I thought the hotel looked very tired. It was totally full, and the receptionist gave me a room on the ground floor, right by the front doors. Very noisy. People banging this door until the early hours. I had emailed them twice before, to try to be accommodated in one of the villas, as I had been in there before and it’s much nicer. I received no reply from either email, and the receptionist was not interested in what I was saying. This...

"The breakfast was amazing with the added touch of the pianist. The waiter Hassan in the pool bar and the oyster bar was really helpful, patient and kind. He ensured that our food order had no beef or pork. The check in staff helped up to book a boat tour and facilitated us possibly checking out a bit later."

The .breakfast just about everything you want , boiled eggs, fried eggs etc. Lovely selection of fruit, pastries plus continental breakfast ,superb.Pool good. Location excellent for marina not too far to old town.bus station 3 minutes.Train station 10 to 15 minutes. We sat outside for breakfast on the terrace where there was seagulls. The hotel employ a guy who brings his Eagle called Oscar to scare off the seagulls, they 🤔 think...

"First the positives. The hotel is in a lovely position close to the beach and the boardwalks offer a beautiful walk into Lagos for those with good mobility. We had a superior room with a sea room and cannot fault the room itself. Now for the negatives. A ripped towel was left behind the curtain presumably from the previous occupant. This should have been removed. The folder in the room states that we could request a nespresso machine.When we asked at reception they said they would find out....
