"Nice little one night stopover visiting Bude.
Ample parking and easy to find. Straight road into Bude. A little isolated so make sure you buy supplies from Bude on the way back.
A few spiderwebs and bugs in the room when we arrived but only because the window was left open thankfully because it was such a hot day.
Paula the host was very helpful and friendly start to finish. Will stay again if we visit Bude again."

"We received a lovely warm welcome. Lovely hotel. Nice location close to the beach. Lovely comfortable rooms with small en suite bathroom. Big plus for me was the kettle with plenty of tea, coffee and milk in the room. Will definitely book again when coming to Devon."

"Housr was clean and staff very welcoming and helpful. Elements of the room/chairs were a little worn. Rooms were large and beds comfortable. Given the recent Hugh temperatures, fans in rooms would have been nice"
"Very convenient, shame the bar closes at 8, would have been nice to sit and have a drink.
Fan in the bedroom would have nice, very hot!
But overall a pleasant stay"
"The room was fine but when I arrived around 7pm it was like an oven. A fan was provided but it was not possible to open the window more than about 4in. I know that guests who throw themselves out of 1st floor windows cause a lot of unnecessary admin but better ventilation would be appreciated."
"Super helpful staff, and a great place to take our family for a holiday. Our second visit and still a lovely place: safe and welcoming.
Having the on-site wildlife was also a hit with our eldest- who rescued a hedgehog and helped feed the ducklings.
One of the shower taps sadly didn’t like turning to cold - and the cabins did get very hot (mitigation being it was the 30 degree plus heatwave)"
"This is annokd hotel maintained beautifully. The staff was very helpful. Taking the time to find me a room near the elevator which i really appreciated. I woukd not however recommend eating at thur restaurant, called the bank . I waited iver an hour, with noone advising me of the wait- and then the pork belly was dry and stringy- some parts inedible. To their credit tho they did not charge me for the meal. Its in the old part of town which also was nice."
"Lovely apartment, even had a sea view, had all we needed for a short break.
Good bathroom and nice towels and all very clean and tidy.
Would recommend a stay here"
"We arrived at the Sawmills having made a last minute booking. On arrival we noticed the room was immaculately clean. Despite our booking being a dog friendly room, there wasn't a dog hair in site. Theo and the team couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome and at home. We had a lovely evening meal and drinks in the garden, slept like logs and then an amazing breakfast next morning. Worth every penny of the incredibly low price we paid. We will certainly be back and hopefully stay a little longer next time. Thanks for making our wedding anniversary a very special one ❤️"
