"Loved this place! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Loved the service with a smile very welcoming. Will definitely return here."

"Great location, clean, very nice "

"The Manor House hotel is located in the centre of Dronfield, in itself a fascinating ex steel town. The hotel has a long history and has been well maintained. My room was clean and well furnished. The bathroom was also clean and well looked after. Breakfast was of a very good standard. Staff were attentive at all times. I was very pleased to stay at the Manor House hotel."

"It was a lovely place to stay. We were travelers for the Chatsworth House and stayed here 1 night. Our room was excellent, and the food - for dinner and breakfast (both continental and english) was fantastic!"

"Absolutely beautiful and quaint, similar to what you see in period movies and tv shows. We would definitely stay here again. We recommend suite 1. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Room and en-suite were remodeled recently, keeping the old world charm with updated amenities."

"Sadly, a disappointing stay in a hotel that has the potential to be beautiful but is dated and poorly maintained. We did not receive the suite we specifically booked for its layout. The first room we were given was accessed through a pitch-black courtyard, which felt unsafe. Although the bedroom and bathroom were modern, the living area was echoey, with a flimsy falling apart table and a fold-out bed positioned in a room near the external door. "Absolutely fantastic hotel - fabulous food. Exceptionally clean room, lovely bar, excellent food. Definitely will be returning."

"The pictures of the hotel are accurate but also slightly deceptive - the hotel is located within a uni campus and has university halls either side of it. I expected a more private location than to be amongst students. The rooms were clean and looked accurate to the photos, however I would say we were lucky as we got the corner room which seemed slightly larger than the others. The breakfast was fine but there were some issues like that the bread was stale and the coffee was machine only....

"Wonderful 2 night stay for a walking weekend, exceptional customer service and superb food."

"The Pilsley Inn is the quintessential English country side experience. The room was thoughtfully appointed and way bigger than expected. Cozy bed, nice linens and thoughtful touches everywhere. The staff were delightful, each and every one of them. And the food…omg, the food! So good! We wish we booked more than one night!"

"Love this place so friendly and welcoming"

"The Fischers have provided a beautiful country manor and gardens for the use of guests. The staff were friendly and helpful. The meals were delicious."

"Incredibly friendly and helpful staff at front desk! Thank you"

"The breakfast could have been more extensive"

"Great stay parking awkward but that was the only problem."
