"Firstly, I didn’t make use of the ‘amenities’. I was visiting parents who had moved house so this was literally a place to rest my head. That being said, the restaurant staff were lovely as I arrived late when l they were finishing shift so helped me find keys and get in. The room was decent - comfortable bed, shower and separate toilet. "Stay was below expectations. Staff were okay, but parking felt unsafe. The corridor had an unpleasant smell and the lift was out of order. The room wasn’t well maintained—small TV and a poorly conditioned hairdryer."

"Overall the stay was excellent the hosts were amazing and flexible suggesting places to eat for dinner nearby. The breakfast was delicious. "There was only one member of staff there over our 2 day stay & she was really nice and helpful (she seemed to be covering reception, housekeeping & kitchen). Got to say all the public areas could do with a good hoover and the skylight in our room was covered in green algae. Our room was clean (apart from the skylights) but small. Breakfast was really poor for the price we paid. Hotel in general needs a good update as has loads of potential."

"We had reason to request to move room and the staff were very accommodating and looked after us well - top marks for that. The evening dinner (pie of the day) was actually unexpectedly excellent and the accompanying veggies were nice and crisp - very enjoyable. The only minor quibble was that due to TV mounting it was next to impossible to get a HDMI stick plugged in (something maybe to check into). Anyhow, all in all, nicely situated and a nice place to stay at and all the staff we encountered...

"Lovely quirky hotel. Free parking and in easy reach of public transport with only a short tram journey to the centre of Sheffield. Rooms clean and welcoming. Beds comfy and a modern clean and large on suite. Breakfast was perfect with help yourself cereal toast and a full menu of various cooked options to choose from cooked fresh with table service. Only downside breakfast room was far too hot. Would definitely return."
