I asked for a refund of the difference and they told me they couldn’t and offered other services instead. It’s a bit hard to believe that a hotel has overbooked when everything was done online and the fact I couldn’t get a refund for the difference. I had a nice time here and the staff was really nice but I’m also not sure if I got scammed or not. The area of the hotel was not so great as it was far from any shops or restaurants. If I was to do this trip again I would have preferred to find a hotel closer to walking street where the restaurant and night market is as we went there every night after the temples to grab dinner.
