The Milford Inn on the River was such a delightful surprise. Our room was spacious, complete with a kitchen and a small balcony, which made it feel extra special. The beds were incredibly soft and comfortable, and I had one of the best night’s rests of my trip. Truly a hidden gem!

We enjoyed staying at the Milford Motel on the River. It wasn't 5 star, but it's not rated a 5 star. It was clean, great price, good view of the river, and the staff were very friendly. We'd stay there again when back in the Bangor area.

Great little motel and excellent value

I have stayed here several times now and each time it has been excellent. The two bedroom suite we stayed in this trip looked fairly recently renovated and was equip with stainless steel appliances. NOT a fancy chain hotel but a ver clean and well kept Mom and Pop motel with lots of personal touches.

The stay at Milford Motel is quite pleasant. The motel is family friendly, quiet, and clean, and the owner, a nice lady, is very attentive, informative and friendly. The view of river is a plus and there are great restaurants and places of interest nearby.

The room was lovely, and very affordable. Even in travel seasons like October. The couple who runs it are very sweet and the room had a very homey feel with a kitchenette and even clean mugs, dishes, silverware, and a teapot. You get a medium fridge, microwave, found a toaster, etc. it was a lifesaver when other lesser rated hotels were charging double the rate with less charm anyways

Quiet clean weekend stay

Management was very pleasant to work with we had one issue that they came and fixed immediately with the TV the hotel itself is very clean quiet area right off the street it's a little outdated but comfortable and had everything that we needed

Acadia National Park Trip

We had an amazing stay. The front lady was super informative about the place and upgraded our room without asking. The room was cleaned everyday and all our questions was answered with kindness. We loved our stay - with the river view ofcourse. Thanks for the lovely experience.

Friendly and comfortable

The owner/manager was lovely and helpful. My room was large and the bed very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with a fridge/freezer, stove, etc. There are areas that could be improved, but expected for a motel-type accommodation.

This was the cutest mom and pop motel. It was clean and safe and had a cute little balcony. Yes, it is outdated but they have made it work for sure. It felt like a motel on old Route 66. Updating would ruin its charm so instead the embraced it.
