"Staff helpful Recommending excellent Indian restaurant nearby. Area little off putting initially but very easy access into main centre. Loads of students around giv in g good vibe to local area once one got over some abandoned and poorer looking properties (not many but some around). Felt safe and good value for money."

"I’ve stayed at The Fitzwilliam several times and like the location, cleanliness and room size. This time, our heat was blasting and we couldn’t adjust the thermostat. The woman at the desk was very helpful and had maintenance take a look. Unfortunately, we were told the thermostat was “tricky” and the heat could not be adjusted. We had to leave the window open and the street noise was very loud, as expected. Not a great solution."
