"Some staff were really helpful and solved problems well. Other younger desk staff made mistakes (got room number wrong for taxi and almost sent driver away, then called a second taxi while driver was still there) or were unhelpful and gave up easily (looked for a lost jacket indifferently). Older desk staff made much more of an effort and found coat easily. Younger staff lacked a willingness to work."

"Maldron Hotel Belfast City. The place is wonderful! The environment is friendly and welcoming, and the entire hotel feels brand new. Slept like a baby. Would happily leave a 5-star hotel review. Excellent choice for anyone seeking style and comfort. We stayed here on a friend's advice and were not disappointed. The room was immaculate, the bed was quite comfortable, and the staff made us feel right at home. Overall, it was a great stay."

"Our ferry was late so we got there pretty late but within their "open lobby" time. Got greeted, I let them know my friend was waiting in the car, made sure we had a room with 2 beds. I assumed this was sufficient for them to understand we were 2 of us. Got checked in, reparked and got inside with backpacks. At this point they closed...and we found out they gave us one key. For two people. Which in itself isn't terrible...but now we were forced to choose "do I poop in the dark...or does she lug...

"Where to start - I was clearly looking warm and tired upon my arrival so the staff made sure my room was ready early so I could settle in and freshen up. I asked for directions to the nearest shopping precinct only to be told it was a little too far to walk to on such a hot day, but a member of staff would be happy to drive me there. Which they thankfully did. Returned later in the evening to a fantastic and very reasonably priced evening meal. At check out the reception staff, once again, went...
