"A really lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable, and the staff were so kind from the moment we checked in! We stayed two nights, and apart from a plumbing glitch that caused the water to need to be turned off, all was lovely. The breakfast is incredible - definitely recommend!"

"Myself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted. Thank you for the stay, it made our break, we will definitely be booking again."

"We think of a B&B in the traditional way, where someone welcomes you into their home. This was more like an Air B&B, but with continental breakfast supplied. We were lucky enough the first morning to find someone to call a cab for us, but never saw anyone after that except other guests. It was nice to have access to a fridge to keep drinks cold, but we were expecting a homemade breakfast."

"The room was clean. A bit small and decor was simple. Room lighting could be improved upon. Bathroom was large but we had trouble getting a hot shower. UK shower arrangements are often a puzzle. Separate hot water switches and not in the bathroom. Instructions would help for those guests that are unfamiliar. "This place was so clean, it looked brand new, amazing. The room was large the beds were great, the bathroom was more than you could ask for and the towels were big and fluffy. Thought was only a continental breakfast, but you could order anything. Self parkng was a plus."

Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! "
