"It's a lovely little hotel on a quiet street near a park, a short walk away from lots of great food and drink -- faves include the Copper Room, the Glen Tavern & Freddies, and in the other direction, Bobby Byrne's. Also, as this is No 1 Pery Square, do go see the museum at No 2 Pery Square, so you know some of the history of the area."

"The hotel was nice, the staff were spectacular. They were kind and helpful at every turn. They were able to let me change room when I requested as soon as a room with a second bed opened up. The room was nice but linoleum flooring is loud and cool; carpet is nicer but harder to clean, so I get it. Not that big of a deal but if they read these & are remodeling, keep this in mind. The facilities are aging a bit. The shower/tub is way too elevated above the floor, from a safety standpoint. The...

"Literally one of my favorite places that I’ve ever stayed. It was truly beautiful and felt like Christmas in every aspect. The people were so kind and so excited to help us find the perfect places to visit. The restaurant was absolutely delicious. Not only would I stay here again, I will probably book Ireland again at Christmas just to stay here… except this time for longer. 10/10. "

"I was delighted by the kindness, friendliness, and service by Katrina and Laura. We had a few special last-minute requests and they were both very helpful and made our stay fun and easy. Our room was comfortable, clean, and comfortable. The meal we 3 (me and my two young adult kids) had at the hotel was absolutely terrific — my traditional roast dinner was a highlight for sure! "The staff were so welcoming, kind, thoughtful and truly magnificent. We were in Shannon for a dear friends funeral and while that was very difficult the staff made it so much easier. Carrygerry country house is so beautiful, it is cosy, the mattress and pillows were so comfortable and the room was spotless. Their attention to detail was second to none. I would stay here again in a heart beat, very well done to all the team, this is hospitality at its finest !! "
