Our hotel unfortunately does not offer private facilities and all our rooms are either shared main facilities or shared ensuite facilities as described in our room layout when booking online.We do hope the rest of your stay was a pleasant one and we hope to see you both in the area again soon. Thank you for your review Christine, As the management of this hotel I had a few calls regarding your stay with us on 25/7/22 from our shift supervisor. We fully understand your concerns however when you approached our staff member regarding the toilet you were advised you had booked our standard shared facilities room and that other rooms were available with facilities if you wished to upgrade, your response was ‘no I’ll just use the bathroom for those rooms anyway as I’m not upgrading’. In response also to your room lock, our staff member showed you how to use your key appropriately for your room and you seemed very disinterested in what they had to say, staff even offered you an alternative room with the same facilities to which you declined. We pride ourselves at the hotel on our hospitality, cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere but when our staff member calls to note that a patron in room 3 has allowed themselves onsite whilst the business is still closed to check in when their check in time is still an hour away when the business opens, is quite rude and muttering swear words under their breath whilst being shown around site as well as other patrons commenting at the bar on abruptness and rudeness we believe sometimes there is not much more we can do to appease. We do hope you enjoy the rest of your travels and thank you for staying with us here in the country, hopefully your day was just a once off the next hotel/motel you stay with you will be more respectful of staff and other patrons.
