"We stayed very short time but it’s a wonderful place to stay! The host provided very warm welcome and were very friendly, assisted with some immediate needs we had, parking was behind gates, accommodation was simply wonderful and the property was quiet, charming and meticulously maintained. Didn’t get a chance to use amenities like outdoor gym and pool. Overall, we had very relaxing, enjoyful stay here during our road trip through garden route."

"Store værelser med fine faciliteter. Fantastisk udsigt. Ikke så hurtigt internet. Poolen trængte virkelig til lidt TLC."

"The staff and Patrick in particular were friendly insightful, and genuinely interested in us having a good stay at their facilities and the balance of the trip. The Location was very convenient. Breakfast was enjoyable. The facilities seemed secure. A very comfortable evening. We would stay here again."

"Het was er oud en vies!"

"From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we had amazing service in a very beautiful guesthouse. All our comforts were met, the staff is very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was delicious. The hostess recommended and booked a dinner reservation for us which made our anniversary trip very special indeed. Absolute value for money. Highly recommended. "

"Wonderful host who were very flexible with our late check in. The place is really comfortable and clean and tidy with lots of amenities. "

"An incredible property outside of Cape Town. We were there only one night but it would be great for 10 friends to go for the weekend and relax. "

"Zimmer war ok. Eher rustikal eingerichtet und wirkt dadurch vlt. etwas einfacher, war aber sauber. Leider gab es sehr sehr viele kleine Fliegen im Zimmer und vor allem im Bad. Das hat den Eindruck merklich getrübt. Das optionale Frühstück („Frühstückskorb“) ist seinen Namen und erst recht seinen Preis nicht wert. Auf keinen Fall bestellen!"

"ROOM VERY LARGE AND SPACIOUS. STAFF VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. GOOD BREAKKIE. GREAT LOCATION FOR WALKING TO SHOPS & RESTAURANTS NEARBY. SECURE PARKING AND FELT SAFE TO WALK AROUND AREA."

"Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt"

"Mooie ruime kamers, mooie tuin en uitstekend ontbijt"

"Sehr schönes und sauberes Zimmer mit Direktzugang zum kleinen Pool. Genau perfekt um sich nach einem langen Tag abzukühlen und zu entspannen. Das Zimmer hatte alles, was man gebraucht hat. Wir hätten Frühstück dazu gebucht und das war wirklich fantastisch. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und es gab auch einen kostenlosen abgesicherten Parkplatz."

"Nice room and a very pleasant couple of nights - the owner was most helpful in providing advice and guidance of local restaurants and spots to visit. Highly recommended"

"It was serendipitous that I booked a stay at Mountain View Swellendam as I was looking for a place to stop about 6 hours west from Port Elizabeth. I saw nice pictures, a good rating, and a reasonable price. But WOW! First, incredible hospitality. We were greeted at the gate, shown our secure parking spot, then given a complete tour of our unit and directions around the grounds. Plus a recommendation for a restaurant for dinner that we followed and enjoyed. Also, a staff member stopped by to...

"Beautiful, well maintained facilities with incredibly accommodating staff and hosts. It’s a fantastic way to get up close and personal with some of the amazing game and wildlife our country has to offer. Truly an unforgettable experience!"
