"It is a nice guest house with only 7 rooms. It is an quaint 350 year old structure that has a lot of character yet modern amenities, yet no elevator, which made navigating 3 suit cases difficult. Also, it is at least a 2 block walk on cobblestone streets from where the taxi / ubers drop you off. For the money, I have stayed at better hotels in Lisbon. "

"We had a fantastic stay at Almaria Ex Libris Chiado from start to finish. From the initial booking through to check-in and check-out, communication was excellent and everything felt seamless. The apartment was amazing - even better than the photos online. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment and were pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was. It was spotlessly clean, bright, and filled with natural light thanks to the large windows. The location was perfect, allowing us to walk everywhere and explore Lisbon with ease. The real highlight was the thoughtful touches, especially the fresh bread delivered outside our door each morning and the fresh fruit provided for juicing. The apartment was also very well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. If there was one small downside, it would be that the pillows weren’t the most comfortable and the bathroom towels weren’t the best quality, although they were changed daily. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would absolutely love to come back."

"The room and bathroom were small, basic and functional. Some fixtures in the bathroom were broken. Because this hotel is in the middle of Bario Alto the party street, it’s very noisy until 2 or 3 am so you won’t get any sleep in those hours "

"I had a nice stay at this B&B. The location is excellent – very close to plenty of restaurants, bars, and other amenities, making it easy to explore the area on foot. It’s also conveniently situated near the main road with trams and traffic, which is great for transport links, though light sleepers might find it a bit noisy at times. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always happy to assist with any questions. The accommodation itself was clean and seems to have been renovated fairly recently, which gave it a fresh and comfortable feel. There were just a couple of minor drawbacks: the shower could have been a bit cleaner, and there was occasionally a strong smell coming from the drainage. However, this may not be an issue unique to this property. Overall, a good stay in a convenient location with welcoming staff."
