"This was the very best hotel and staff. The room was lovely. Staff were friendly, and they couldn't do enough for you. They would do anything in their power to make your stay a pleasurable experience. I would strongly recommend the stay, with the Marina literally two minutes away, and the town center a 10 minute walk away. My only problem was the food. It's not the best, and don't have the breakfast you'll be wasting your money, it has very poor quality ingredients. You'd be better off eating...

Our room had a great view of the race course but unfortunately was directly above the kitchen. Kitchen smells and noise drifted up and on one occasion very loud music from the kitchen. "Love old pub with plenty of character. Staff very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Great food, reasonable price. Choice of cooked breakfast or fruits, yoghurts, croissants, toast and juices etc. Lovely room. Everything you need to hand. Definitely stay there again. Would highly recommend. "
