"I stayed at Iberostar Waves for 7 days, and overall, it was a very mixed experience.
The biggest issue was the bathroom cleanliness. It was filthy, with many stains on the tiles, and the toilet flush was extremely weak. It couldn’t properly flush a reasonable amount of toilet paper, so we had to use the lobby washroom.
The AC was also disappointing, as it never cooled the room properly.
The food had good variety each day, but it was often cold unless you arrived right when the buffet opened....

"Some staff were very polite and considerate, especially the reception staff Yasmine and Sara. The rooms were okay, but the beds were really hard and uncomfortable, the curtain rail was broken and the sofa bed was stained. One room for four people did not feel large enough. The hotel could do with a revamp.
There are no lifts in the hotel and the rooms upstairs are not easy to get to. There are a lot of stairs and balconies you need to walk past to get to your room. We got lost several times the...

"This hotel is outstanding! Very family friendly but great for adult only travel. It's a 10-15 minute commute to the Medina. The staff was nice and very accommodating in English. The rooftop restaurant is gorgeous with good food. I would recommend 10 out of 10."

"My wife and I travel all over the world and we have been to fancy hotels that offer the best of the best but we’ve never had a more homey feeling, the staff was super helpful and friendly. A small room but super cozy clean and everything we needed. Location was right where you wanna be, close to everything and a very good breakfast."

"Everything was great! Pools were nice, only thing is food is super repetitive and even if you paid for your buffet you’re not allowed to fill up your water bottle while it’s 40+ degrees out and I thought that was a bit bizarre. It’s just water."
