  • These ruins are part of the Historic City of Ayuttaya UNESCO World Heritage Site. The three stupas hold the ashes of three important kings who ruled the kingdom. The ruins are part of the royal palace that was built sometime between 1351-1369. The ruins are very awesome to see but people do not pay much attention to signs about not climbing on them - but no one enforces the rules either. Sad to see such old architecture being disrespected by someone trying to take a perfect selfie.

kleinschalig hotel, gerund door familie. Er wordt veel zorg besteed aan klanten, prima ontbijt in tuin aan oever van de rivier en voortdurende vriendelijkheid. Prima restaurant in de buurt.

Comfortable homestay

Comfortable homestay hosted by our great host who also cooked us a delicious thai breakfast! Location was decent with one of the best temples within cycling distance. Host leant us her bikes for free and arranged for rides around town from her contacts which was a plus in getting around.
