The ruins are part of the royal palace that was built sometime between 1351-1369. The ruins are very awesome to see but people do not pay much attention to signs about not climbing on them - but no one enforces the rules either. Sad to see such old architecture being disrespected by someone trying to take a perfect selfie.

What a lovely hotel, family ran and authentic. Was booked for 1 night and stayed 5 nights. Near many temples and sight seeing sight, on the river (bug spray at sunset) ... quiet and comfy The family who operates it were wonderful and made me feel like family, fresh, delicious home made food made by Pen, Panya the owner was very helpful, phone calls, airport transfers, even a good happy hour buddy Their son and his wife were also very kind and offered help and took a lotta of pics ... not bad for a solo traveller!!! beautiful place i will go back for sure Thank u so much for a wonderful stay in Ayutthaya

A little noisy

It's a home that has been converted into a 5 room hotel. There is free parking. It's cramped, but there's parking. It's on the river, which is nice, but you'll hear river boats throughout the day and night. Because it is formerly a house, you'll hear the guests next door pretty easily. Overall, it's a nice, not too expensive place to stay. No complaints about the room, other than we could hear everything going on in the other rooms. If you like to sleep in, you might want to choose somewhere else. We were awoke around 7:30am by stuff going on in other rooms, but we were planning on getting up early anyway.

Awesome Stay on the River

Very freindly family business, owners very helpful with all our questions and quality referrals for rentals, restaurants and sites. Nice terraces off rooms over river which has a plethora of fish to feed. Early Wednesday mornings are enlightening on the river deck as the temple across the river plays prayer music as you enjoy your coffee. Owner was very find and gave us a ride to the bus station. We absolutely enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it.
