Incredible stay at the Magdalena. The service was impeccable and the decor fantastic. Dom will take care of you by the perfect salt water pool when you need to cool down in the Texas heat. Near all the hot spots on South Congress too!

Hotel has a great central garden space and nice pool. It feels a bit like it may have had more soul before being taken over by Hyatt. Room was nice but not amazing, shower relatively low water pressure and small. It was a nice hipster corporate hotel but there are better options in Austin

This hotel is my absolute favorite place in Austin, Texas. I actually live in Austin Texas, but I go stay here quite often. The staff always remembers my name and they make me feel like family. The rooms are beautiful and clean and the location cannot be beat. I highly recommend this hotel and the Summer house which is the restaurant attached to. It is amazing as well. If you’re coming for Austin city limits, music festival or SXSW or the F1 races this location and Hotel cannot be beat! I highly recommend the Hotel Magdalena!

Beautifully designed hotel in the most wonderful area. We enjoyed the central location and being able to walk everywhere. The rooms and common areas have a unique and very creative interior design aesthetic. The large balconies outside the rooms provided a wonderful place to sit with coffee in the morning surrounded by nature. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. The pool is magnificent! We look forward to staying here again.

I have so much good to say about this hotel. It was nice to be surrounded by trees and great landscaping. The art and decor were also incredible. There were some practical things missing about my room (no drawers, small closet, no wash clothes!) but the overall vibe, comfort, friendliness of the staff far outweighed those issues.
