This is a great hotel to stay for a few days. Rooms above 3rd floor have balconies and better views. Breakfast is traditional Bavarian fair - eggs, ham , sausages, croissants , desserts etc. - if you like to eat for 20€ , you can’t beat it. There’s a restaurant/bar on premises where you can get a nightcap drink. Hotel stands in a nice park outside of the main roads so you will not hear any noise. Herring around tip: If you are ok riding a scooter, those are cheap with lots of choices and a lot of them are parked next to hotel. Prepay and 30 mins or an hour and it’s a great and fun way of getting around. Bike lanes are everywhere.

Check-in process was painless and the staff was very friendly. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable and the linens were cozy. We enjoyed having the large balcony as well. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of variety, even vegan options. The location was great, there is a nice park nextdoor and property is close to tram stop, providing quick access to Altstadt and Hauptbahnhof in a matter of minutes. It was a great value and an enjoyable stay, would recommend!

Good service and comfortable rooms. Only drawback is that parking is located quite a walk away. Also surprised that the room came with a balcony facing a park. Unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy it as it was freezing outside and the wind was howling, but I can imagine it being a pleasant touch in warmer months.

After having been at another Dorint hotel property just recently, I thought the entrance left a bit to be desired. It was dirty and needed to be swept daily or washed. Gave a sloppy impression. However the inside was very clean and cared for. My room was ok. Glass doors to balcony were fingerprinted and dirty as well, bed linens were fine. Bathroom had mildew in shower and bathroom area tiles The staff in front was very nice and helpful, the breakfast was plentiful and very good and the breakfast hostess was super helpful. I hope this feedback is helpful. Best Regards

Great place!

Great place! Close and convenient! Only about 30 minutes from Munich. Nice balcony and wonderful breakfast! We were able to see Augsburg soccer game, Augsburg Panther game ( hockey), and the NENA concert! The hotel was right next door to the concert!! The front desk staff was excellent; they left me know were the closest laundromat was when I asked! Superb!

Staff was actually very kind. However, as far as room service, which was limited, as we were told they would exchange our towels/sheets day three, didn’t happen. When we requested at least fresh towels, the staff seemed far from pleased to provide this service. The rooms are adequate, nothing special. Th bartenders were great as well as the breakfast staff. The hotel is Bear public transport and the staff was great calling for a taxi. Overall, a pretty good stay.
