For the price, it’s the best! The staff prioritize cleanliness and have certain rules that make staying in the shared pods even better. I have literally no complaints I stayed there for 3 days. It was peaceful. Thank you! I’ll definitely visit again in the future.

It's not luxury but for the price It's good. Staff is very nice and people are generally quiet and respectful of others. Across the street from the Sky Tower, around the corner from a grocery store, and right down the street from Queen St.

Staff indeed is helpful including tourist information. The cheapest hostel in town, you get what you pay, good value for money. Wifi even on the 3rd level is connected well. Kitchen is provided with plenty of cooking kitchenware & tableware

The bathroom stall doors on 3rd floor men bathroom needs adjustments to close properly. I will book here on my next time in Auckland CBD. Close to Sky Tower and convenient Sky drive bus to and from airport. Also, safe environment at this establishment. Friendly, informative and knowledgeable staff.

The receptionist didn’t tell me about Wi-Fi password. I didn’t see there was one on the counter because I have vision problems. There was no sign in the room. Second day I met the same woman, asked if there was WiFi and password, she said, go to the reception desk to see. She could have told me the password which is a simple one. The woman toilet room has some slot ran out of toilet paper for more than one day. The genitor seemed watched his cell phone a lot. Some travelers dumped their food into kitchen sinks, and some didn’t clean the utensils well or clean the mess they made.

Worse place I've stayed

This place is awful. Holes and half painted walls, grubby rooms and bathroom, and the kitchen is filthy. Didn't even want to put my bag down. Security is bad, homeless people living there trying to grab spare beds, just walk into the rooms as noone locks behind them. Got zero sleep as ambulance arrived 3am blaring their horn to be let in? Also the bedding was a sleeping bag...

I could hear the water running through the pipes fairly loudly in this particular room. Earplugs might be needed if you struggle with needing silence to get to sleep.
