The unit is nice, service and communication great.this is on of two units at a residential home. The area is not flash, so if you dont mind that you will be fine..but if you want a good or better area then this is not for you.

Sorry to hear that. We just had a very bad couple living in this room for 2 days and just checked out today. They were drinking and drunk and had a big fight. They made so much mess. They Damaged the toilet door and left a big hole. They also damaged the toilet seat. We fixed up the door and bought a new toilet seat in the morning . As it was close to check in time, we didn't finish the painting the door. We had a very stressful morning by these guests. Expedia website doesn't have anywhere to let hotel owner report bad guests which I wanted to block them forever!

Area is lovely and quiet . It was nice and private. Wasnt able to get the wifi though . They provided all necessary amenities. It was kept clean and tidy. Awesome stay

I could not find a single fault with this property. I was made to feel welcome from the second I arrived. The property had everything I could possibly need for my stay. The owners are so warm, welcoming & friendly. I would 1000% recommend this to anyone and would definitely stay again myself.

Great parking right outside our unit. The rooms were tastefully decorated and clean. Appreciate the Macconna coffee. The barking dog was scarey.

We chose it because it was near our brother in law in Green Bay so for that reason it did its job. Not sure why people say it was quiet, someone was coughing their guts up at 5.30 am every morning. The walls are paper thin so you hear ev.erything. To be fair it was ok for what it was

It was very quiet. There was plenty of parking but at night when we came home the people from the other unit had parked in the middle taking up 2 parking spaces. Maybe the parks need to be painted.

Comfortable Stay at Alice House
Stayed in the King Suite at Alice House for 3 nights. 'Open Plan' style main room has king-sized bed, well-equipped kitchen, dining area, tv and a couple of single lounge chairs in one large room. There is a spacious second room with one single bed & a single trundle. Take note that if you book for two people needing two separate beds, you need to let Alice know in your booking requests that you will be using the single bed, as it doesn't come automatically made-up. There is a small hanging rack for clothes, but no drawers or shelves for clothes storage, which is fine for a short-stay, but might be annoying on a longer stay. The bathroom is not overly flash, but is clean and functional. Good shower temp & pressure. Basic bathroom supplies are provided - shampoo, body wash, cake of soap in the shower, pump-pack soap at basin - but are 'standard' sized products which are used from guest to guest, so if you are a bit squeamish about 'sharing', suggest to pack your own.

Spotlessly clean. Bedside lamps would be an improvement. No flannels were provided but to be fair we didn't ask for any as I had packed some. Alice house is in a residential street. The neighbours were quiet.

Comfortable little unit at the end of no-exit road
Alice was welcoming, the unit was clean and tidy as described. Complimentary breakfast was basic but most welcome. Bed comfortable, no noisy neighbors.

Nice and very clean
This was a very nice and clean hotel. The owner was very friendly and attended to all our needs. Our room was cleaned daily and fresh towels was provided each day. Very private and quite. Great place to stay.

The place was great but hard to find. Clean good space. Even got toothbrush. Breakfast was ok but the bread was strange.

Like staying with friends
As the title says, we were greated by the owner like we were returning friends. She was very attentive to why we were there and was genuinly interested. Breakfast was lovely and the home made yoghurt just divine. Our rooms were spacious and very well equipped, the deck area was lovely to sit out on and eat lunch and was well shaded for my afternoon nap !

Good setup for the price
Handy location and you do have your own space. There was some confusion when I went out in the car for an early morning coffee, and the host tried to get in to the room. Gave my wife a bit of a shock.

Absolutely top notch!
Beautiful accommodation with a host that made sure we had a comfortable stay. The room was lovely and one could see the personal effort Alice had made to ensure everything was provided. We arrived late and found her waiting for us at the doorstep with a smile. Thank you Alice for your amazing hospitality! I would rate it ten stars!

Nice setup. I deal for family
Alice met me when I arrived. Very pleasant. The accommodation has 2 Rooms each with basic TV. Full kitchen and bed in first room. 3 beds and ensuit in second room. All nice and new. Shared Large deck with new out door furniture. All fairly new.

Stay in a neighborhood cottage!
Alice is a wonderful host. She gave advice, had fruit and cereal for breakfast. It was hot and muggy, so she brought us a fan. Beautiful deck to sit on with glorious breeze

Schön gelegenes Cottage mit wunderbaren Vermieter
Schön gelegenes kleines Cottage mit sehr hilfsbereiten Vermietern. Adrian und Ellen sind wirklich sehr daran interessiert, einem den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Die kleine Terrasse des Hauses ist wunderschön, hier kann man die Abende in ruhiger Umgebung sehr schön ausklingen lassen und merkt nicht, dass man fast mitten in Auckland. Wenn wir wieder in Auckland sind werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder hierherkommen.

Comfortable and Friendly
We felt at home at Alice House. The bungalow had everything we needed and Alice and Adrian were wonderful!

Good place if you do not want to be in Downtown.
Large place with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Very large Kitchen, well stocked with all you need, Alice is very helpful and accommodating
