Front desk service outstanding!

Front desk service is amazing here,specially.The lady in charge had my paperwork ready when I walked in the door,and greeted me by name on arrival.I only stay here once a month.It is rare to find anyone seriously committed to doing their jobs well.She consistently does hers.

Great place to stay on a budget! The bathroom door was difficult to shut as it got stuck and was not accessible (they had no elevator). The stairs were a little questionable. No bugs, relatively clean, and quiet. Not perfect, but no big complaints.

The peiple who live there seem cordial. Its walking distance to a few places including the Post office and library. Clean for the most part. The problems I had was with the front clerk level of honesty, not following up with issues to fix. My key wasn't working. Them not having a phone number posted on the outside front door in case there is an emergency.

The floor was filthy, bathtub not cleaned, water oozing between bathroom floor tiles, live bugs crawling around. Curtain rod (pole) came down on us when we tried to close the curtains. Staff was considerate and helpful.

I had hoped to check in early but they refused and the staff at the time wasn’t very friendly or accommodating. So I returned at check in time and had to stand out in the cold (in the 20’s) for an hour just to get checked in. I ended up catching a cold. I will say the staff during my check in process though, was much better and way more friendly than when I 1st got there. There should be an easier way for people to get checked in. That’s my only real complaint.

You have to pay a deposit even after paying through Expedia. I called ahead to see if there was and Indian guy answered. He confirmed the area and the address and said that there is no deposit for this property. He also tried to work an offer with me as well but I turned it down. Upon arriving to hotel. I was charged a $50 deposit that was not mentioned at all even after reserving a room. The room is not exactly what the picture advertise on the Expedia app. But it’s similar to it. There are a couple roaches here but the kitchen and refrigerator was very clean. The staff was pretty descent and but the contract I initialed on said that check out was at 12 but the staff says 11 and a sign said but the contract didn’t and I asked the staff meme we at the time and she said no it’s 11. So I was a little confused in that.

Our room had black mold all down the wall in the bathroom, no towels, no comforter on either bed, no trash receptacle. Was moved to another room and it didn't have towels or comforters either. Housekeeping to 3 hours to bring them to us. Overall not pleased at all with this choice.
