"Bluewater Resort has it all. Wonderful clean cottage with full kitchen & all amenities. We rented a boat slip with electric to plug in daily. We were on the water 10 hours a day, the fishing spots are endless. In our many travels throughout TVR, this is the best location. The staff, where do I begin. Rachel is a gem, a bubbly ray of light & a wealth of info! Everyone was beyond friendly. Conversation, fishing tackle, gas & snacks right at the store. Wish we would never have to leave but...

"I didn't arrive until almost midnight so I did not really see the area around the hotel but I was greeted with a warm smile from a very nice woman at the front desk. She was so friendly and helpful. The room was modern, clean, and well kept. In the morning the breakfast was excellent. It is always nice to have a hot breakfast and the egg white omelet with peppers was surprisingly good. "

"Breakfast is so good! Room was very clean. Beds are not as comfortable as they used to be. They have changed from the IG hotel bedding and mattresses. But still nice. Also the indoor pool is never really warm. My kids shiver in it but still try and swim. Just fyi if you are wanting the hotel for that reason. "

"Honestly the only complaints I have are the insane amount of cicadas that literally chased me coming out the main entrance, and the fact that the smoke detector kept beeping in our room so we had to take the battery out. We tried telling someone at the front desk a couple times but no one was available, it’s an easy fix. Other than that, there ARE quite a few loud vehicles that pass by that make it hard to sleep, but it’s really nice other than that. The room was cleaner than we’ve ever seen,...
