"This was actually our second stay at Lum as when our flights were delayed we wanted a little haven to relax and enjoy our extra time in the South. The staff here were so friendly and helpful and everything about the complex made it feel like a lovely place to stay. Fresh, spacious, clean rooms that surrounded a relaxing garden and a beautiful pool area. We ate out for most meals but also sampled the breakfast and main menu here and all the food was very tasty and beautifully presented.

"Firstly the reservation hadn't been received so I had to pay for the room again and rely on a refund from Hotels.com. Nice room but very noisy with train line adjacent to the building.
Location wasn't great with a 20 min walk into Ahangama and no nearby restaurant or food shops.
I left one night early but no refund for the unused night from the hotel. Overall not a good experience."

"One of the latest additions to Ahangama beachfront, which itself is also recently developed. 40 sea view rooms plus 12 much cheaper and a bit smaller rooms at the backside. The whole setup is a solid 3-4 star: large pool, spa, good buffet breakfast, stable WiFi. And only 300 m walk from town centre (and 500 to station) with lots of bars and restaurants. It’s on west side hence with the surf waves, Secret Beach which can be swimmable in season is 2 km away.
Excellently setup new rooms with good...

"We're a New Zealand family of four living in the UAE and stayed for eight nights in mid October. We had a fantastic holiday and would happily return.
Staff were friendly and helpful, and the traditional Sri Lankan welcome dance was a lovely touch. All rooms face the ocean. Our spacious rooms had great views of the beach and pools, comfortable beds, good bathrooms and excellent air conditioning.
Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of variety, fresh fruit, juices, an omelette station, French...
