The hotel itself was not terrible place. The staff was friendly, albeit untrained. There was no sheets on the pullout or in the room. The bathroom had two towels for a reservation of five. There were mouse traps behind the behind the furniture and the toilet bubbled every five minutes throughout the night. The breakfast food wasn’t eatable and the waffle maker was empty.
The staff had me call tech-support to try to fix the issues with the TV, because they didn’t know how it worked. They wouldn’t bring me the towels or sheets. I had to go get them myself, which was more of an inconvenience than something to get upset about, but was irritating on top of everything else.
That being said, it wasn’t the worst place in the world and the staff was nice enough. We ended up leaving early and eating elsewhere just because it wasn’t worth staying the extra night. No ask of “how was your stay” when we said we were checking out early, even though it was a different attendant.
It’s probably an ok place to stay if you don’t plan on being in the room and just use it as a bed, but the place does deserve an honest review from somebody. I’d look elsewhere if I come back through town again.
