"The room I was checked in at had a lady bug infestation as well as other bugs (stink bugs, flies) to the point we asked for a different room Rooms definitely don’t look like the picture. They’re very old not kept up to par old microwaves some outlets were faulty was very disappointed and dissatisfied with my stay!"

"The hotel is a short drive from downtown. The surrounding has several small plaza but it’s needed to drive there. The room and service is good. The breakfast choice is typical."

"It was very nice..loved the atmosphere!!! affordable, free shuttle to casino, restaurant, great bar area w/ fireplace AND breakfast..nothing like a cup of joe in the morning without having to go too far(lobby area). Def would recommend & we will he back."

"I spent the week here on a solo trip and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend my time. The room was much bigger than I expected, the room I was assigned was facing the parking lot so I was able to literally see my car from my room (that made me so happy), breakfast was served every morning which I personally loved and the staff was so friendly and sweet. "The rooms were clean and very nice. The breakfast room was excellent--a nice place to gather at all times of the day. The breakfast itself was good too. It was a good place to stay."

I cleaned the vents in the fans before I used the heater bc it was quite dirty. The staff is lovely and quickly responded to my concerns about the people above me."

"Gorgeous and quaint place to stay!"

I made my displeasure known and was then asked to park behind the building to allow for more wedding party parking. I tried calling Mariott and they said that nothing could be done for me because I booked through Expedia...

"The front desk staff was very professional and friendly. The hotel was well maintained and clean. We look forward to staying at the Whalers Hotel again."

"Sweet little seaside motel with glorious views of the ocean. Staff was friendly, room was clean, and appeared to be recently remodeled. Only complaint is the linens were a little scratchy, and the pillows were hard. I also understand everyone has a preference and mine may not be the same as others. Would definitely stay here again if I am in the area."
