"At first glance a very strange experience at what seemed an abandoned roadside hotel. After a couple of minutes we were greeted by the host though, and from here everything was smooth. Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms and freshly cooked meals. The facilities, facades and ‘restaurant’ for sure needs a good hand to be somewhat more presentable and inviting, as it gives you a feeling that the place has had its time of glory in the past. "It is a lovely hotel with all its spa facilities. Room was very comfortable. Staff very helpful. However, it does not have a central bar area where you can just relax with a drink. I will stay there again next week but I will be looking for another option in the Friesland area."

"I just stayed one night. I had a nice stay. I really liked the garden with tables outside where you can sit and also bring your own food if you want. Only drawback I could notice is that no fridge was available in the room."
