"Cold shower in the am. So I skipped it"

"All around fantastic stay. Staff was very friendly, the room had a beautiful view of the ocean and breakfast delivered to your room was fabulous as well as delicious. Will definitely stay here again!!"

"Everything thing was great, excellent staff breakfast just right. WiFi was very poor and not useful at all for us."

"I had the ocean view room and the view was beautiful. The fireplace was lovely. However, the beach was very smelly as there was a dead sea lion and tons of dead birds on the beach."

"This property is so beautiful! The views from ocean front rooms were amazing. It is centrally located close to wonderful restaurants and some shopping."

"We had to wait an hour before we got our room. The front desk kept saying it’s the only room and being cleaned at that moment. We requested a room with special shower for wheelchair. The shower curtain was not able to stop water during shower. Almost the entire bathroom floor was flooded. Called front desk and asked for staff to clean up and the answer was “no one to clean it at night time” that’s absolutely ridiculous and totally unacceptable !!!!!!"

"Best Western San Mateo is a great place to stay We visit often and always enjoy our stay!. I use the exercise, gym room. That is a great perk. And the breakfast is always good!"

"The whole place was clean and the staff was friendly"

"Property seemed run down. It was very clean and beds were comfy."
