Decent for a short stay

Good place for a short stay which is exactly what we have. In hotels.com the bedroom was advertised as a room with a garden view, however the room had the smallest windows that couldn’t be opened, the blinds covering them were broken. The lady during the afternoon who did our check-in was lovely, the bed was cozy but loud, shower was hot and room was very well cleaned and Breakfast was very average. Okay for a short time.

A fabulous hotel in the centre of Arequipa.

This is a very well located hotel near the Main Square. The rooms and breakfast are fantastic. Above all, the friendly and ever polite staff will always be there to assist you with tours, restaurants and recommend new/trendy places. An absolute gem near the historic centre of Arequipa.

Posizione perfetta vicino al centro per poter visitare Arequipa. Colazione buona e molto bella se consumata nel giardino (tempo permettendo). La camera è molto semplice e senza pretese ma adatta per un soggiorno comodo e a basso prezzo. Staff super.

Me aloje en este hotel un total de 15 dias y todo genial desde la habitacion el jardin el desayuno y el servicion son muy buenos las abitaciones son limpias y los baños estan bien aseados disponen de wifi gratis que funciona perfecto en todo el hotel a si que no hay escusa por si hay que trabajar yo personalmente e estado por agosto pero repetire para cuando valla de nuevo en febrero por cierto la chica de la recepcion es muy atenta le doy las gracias.

A great hotel in Arequipa

The hotel is beautiful and it is very close to the main plaza. Our room was very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was good. And all the staff was very attentive. We also took the cooking class, which was a different tourism experience. They also took care of our laundry, inexpensive and really quick. I was communicating with them through WhatsApp and didn’t have any issue since we had to check in early at 5 am. Definitely coming back to Casa de Avila b

Great stay. Even prepared a little early breakfast for us on request since we had to leave for the airport a but before breakfast time. All the staff were so friendly, helpful, and professional.

Loved the hotel and staff. The garden area is so peaceful - a perfect spot to relax. Also found the room to be very comfortable. Very clean and just spacious enough. Stayed with my friend in a twin room, and the beds were definitely bigger than twin size - either doubles or fulls. Bathroom was also clean and convenient. Location is great - close enough to the Plaza and just off a couple side streets enough to be quiet. Wifi works GREAT. Delicious breakfast spread.

Comfortable stay, beautiful courtyard

We stayed here for two nights, arriving and leaving at 5am both times. They offered us early check in for an additional charge which was extremely convenient and meant we could sleep when we arrived. The room was on the ground floor, next to the beautiful courtyard. Clean and good size. It was quite cold but on the first night staff gave us a hot water bottle which was great, unfortunately we didn't get one on the second night. Breakfast was reasonable, hot drinks, a few juices, cheese/bread/fruit. Unfortunately they didn't offer breakfast takeaway when we checked out at 5am (we've been offered that at other hotels which is always appreciated). Location was a little out of the way but we knew that when booking our stay, only a 10 minute walk into the centre of town which was good. Staff are very friendly and helped us organise a rafting trip at a very reasonable price.
