"Lovely place to stay for the night - hosts were extremely welcoming and responsive. Suite was very spacious, and had the most comfortable beds of our whole trip. And absolutely beautiful, pastoral setting! "

"Not as good as expected. Had many issues with room that were annoying: -9 little lights on switches and a larger power button on bedroom mirror prevented the room from getting dark (just small night light in bathroom would have been more than sufficient) -Shower had a rain head (with we do not like) and the other head is a “bar” which puts out a “strip” of water. Does not work well. -Sound insulation was OK - could hear quite a bit from other rooms -Loud creak in floor at foot of bed -Door...

"The hosts make the stay very welcoming with great conversations. Breakfast was cooked to order. The pool and hot tub were a welcome break after the day of driving. "

"These are small recent cottage, great bed, AC working fine. It is a bit off road but you can go to Cambridge with 12 min. You are aldo close to Hobbyton. Pool closes at 18h00. No staff available past 18h00, no cafeteria or restaurants, and you have to walk to your cottage thru a maze of sidewalk. "

"Road noise was terrible next to the main road in Cambridge. Had terrible night sleep. No shower curtain. The fridge was not stable when opening it. It was cheap deal for a king bed and single bed though."

"Where do we begin? Our personal experience of this hotel was nothing short of perfection. The location with the lake situated behind it was gorgeous (even in the rain). The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The bed was probably the comfiest bed we have ever slept on and the breakfast... The Riccotta Pancakes and the Croissant French Toast were the best breakfasts we have ever had. We'll both miss those greatly. The location is also great if you are wishing to visit Hobbiton as it's...

"Room was bright, clean and very comfortable."

"Friendly staff, nice room in general. Getting to the facility was difficult due to recent traffic changes. Despite instructions, I got lost almost every time returning to the room. Bed matress was very well worn, body indents present on each side, probably time for a refresh. Pillows were flat. Large roach in the shower and bug bites while in the room, hopefully just mosquitos."

" Very upset to find out there is no proper wash basin in the bathroom with no mirror available. Tiny hand basin to wash face. This is disappointing not to have basic requirements on a motel room. Long delay in getting hot water. "

"This was such a clean and well looked after accommodation. Check in was a breeze, the cleanliness was great and to top it off, I got to pat a fluffy cat. My son was thoroughly impressed with having his own tv. "

"Do not stay here! This is terrible lodging accommodation above a pub! It's very outdated old and does not feel clean. Had a ensuite room and for the money I paid was very disappointing. When it said oh this is a pub the music isn't loud yiu won't here it. I could hear the music if it was in my room after midnight the music finally turned off! This should be advertised that this is a noisy pub!"
