She was so nice to us, my wife was pregnant and even let us stay a bit longer whilst we waited for our taxi as she wasn't feeling well. What a lovely human being! "Peaceful & relaxing with a beautiful beach & safe swimming. The Garden Villas were delightful & the staff genuinely friendly with good service standards. There is a lifeguard on duty who is both informative about sea conditions & the wildlife around. The birdlife is stunning. Only one small quibble in that the inner pool area could do with a bit of a clean.Other than that all good & would certainly recommend."

"Loved this little bit of paradise. The pool and view is the highlight, very quiet and tranquil, a great place to relax and unwind. Great food, fresh and very reasonable. Quiet remote but taxi or tuk tuk is easy to arrange via the reception. Rooms vary, some have better lake views than others, but very clean and well arranged and a good size. Only negative is that there is no mini-bar so no easy to keep you water and drinks called, although you can always get ice from the bar. Suits couples more...

"I had a really wonderful time at Tabula Rasa. Felt like the staff couldn’t do enough to ensure my stay was perfect. The location is stunning. It is worth being located up hill in the peace and quiet, and so easy to pop out in a tuk tuk. The food was really good, I expected to eat out more but, I’d often crave the chef’s dhal! I was able to eat really good plant based meals without getting bored of the menu. The chef would come out to chat, and was very keen to ensure I enjoyed the food. All...

"The room was very clean and the staff were all very helpful. The hotel is luxurious. Two beautiful pools and very good food. The views are stunning over the ocean. The beach is not suitable for swimming due to heavy surf and a strong side current but Talpe beach a 1.5k walk or tuk-tuk away has a safe beach behind a reef. "
