It is a 20 minute walk from Middelfart and 30 minute walk from Middelfart train station, which is a bit of a way but doable and worth it. From the hotel we saw porpoises deer and a variety of birds. "I have stayed several times at this property across 15 years. It is great site with a beautiful view of the fjord. The staff is always helpful and engaged. Breakfast is great and my room is always clean. The rooms are very Scandinavian with the shower being larger than many such hotels. There is no AC. I will continue to stay at Kolding Fjord Hotel!"
