"This is a lovely hotel. Great situation opposite the castle, so at the top of the hill! Continental breakfast of pastries, fruit, yogurt, cold meats, cheese toast. Plenty to choose from. We had a standard room which was spacious and nicely decorated. Large shower room. The plug sockets had been upgraded to include USB and phone charger sockets so you don’t need a plug. "We could not fault the hotel in any way. The room was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. All the staff were fabulous. Friendly, helpful and extremely efficient. Breakfast was a delight with lots of choices (though I was sorry to miss the black pudding) and all the plates were warm so the food didn't cool quickly. In all wonderful stay. Thank you."
