"If you want a hotel, with traditional Indian decor, think beautiful colours, historical pictures of times past, then the Umaid Bhawan is the place to stay. The room was very comfortable, with every modern appliance, but keeping with traditional values. Breakfast was plentiful with hot and cold offerings, you can sit in and outside…it is a really comfortable and surprising brilliant hotel, when you have other more perceived “modern” hotels close by, if you want something more Indian traditional, the Umaid Bhawan is worth your money."

Cleaning staff were excellent too, took every measure to make sure our stay was comfortable. Lot of activities for kids- they loved and enjoyed the stay. Overall, very pleasing experience. Would choose none other than Taj for our future stay."
