Pristine room and bathroom! Staff was so friendly which was much appreciated after a 7 hour drive. We really enjoyed the new and nicely rennovated rooms and felt the beds/pillows were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to our family and friends!

We enjoyed our time at this establishment. The check in was smooth and the person who checked in was charming. The Lodge is close enough to Anchorage and other sites. It is located across from a school and neighborhood.

Nice property in a very convenient location very close to the state park. Our room was very clean and comfortable. It was only 30 minutes drive from Anchorage airport. They do keep a deposit of $250, I got it back in two days. Will recommend this property.

Great stay and great value

We stayed at Eagle River Lodge for 4 days for business. Our executive room was a good size and super clean. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The kitchnette was a plus. The only suggestion, I have is maybe having a coffee table or a small table to have meals on. There is a kitchnette but no table to eat on was kind of weird but still a great place to stay. We would definitely stay here again.

I like this hotel very much and I was pleasantly surprised about how nice the room was and how nice the staff was. There were all positives.aboitntjis hotel. The only negative is the parking there is more rooms than parking spots and the hotel is in a area where there is no other place to park. If they can figure out the parking situation this hotel would be a home run. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Would stay again.

It was a nice hotel. More like a motel as the room doors open to the outside. Looks nicely remodeled and bed was comfortable. The carpet had a few stains but it was clean. For Alaska it’s a very comfortable hotel and way cleaner than even high dollar ones. I will say my hubby uses a ramp or elevator, although we were in second floor, there was no handicap ramp or rails in the roo we stayed in. The stair case has very low step height, so not too bad for him to make it up the stairs. It is split level, so even the first floor had about 4-5 steps down. The bathroom was very clean and shower only- so that is a plus. Would stay here again, but maybe if guaranteed a first or second floor room. I’m not sure he could do the third floor. Safe area in Eagle River and parking was adequate.

Great Hotel in quiet area in town

Quick trip up for Costco run. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. The bathroom was clean and so easy in and out of shower. Only drawback is all the rooms you have to use steps or staircases. No ramp for wheelchairs. Staff were very accommodating and were happy to help us carry our bags up (they asked if we needed help) but we were good. Stayed on top floor- had an AC - room was very comfortable for us Alaskans and we didn’t really need it. Large and spacious room and nice amenities (micro, fridge, individual and nice shower and soap - not the dispenser kind) that exceeded our expectations. Would stay here again. And again.
