"We stayed at The Bay Hotel & Suites with two young children and unfortunately our experience fell well below expectations. We booked a Senior Suite with Garden View based on the description and photographs advertised, but the initial room was materially different and raised genuine safety concerns. The advertised bathtub did not exist, the shower area was extremely slippery and our son slipped twice on the first day. "This is a big resort so there is little to no personalization. For instance, ALL the rooms are ready at the same time (no allowance for early check in). They have all the luggage in a room that is not secured but you do have access to your things easily. There are many steps everywhere to go anywhere. The pool is a nice temperature and the downstairs restaurant was very nice (atmosphere and taste) but the main restaurant was meh. I had heart issues one night and the staff at the hotel called...

"A bit dated but comfortable bed, good aircon easy walk into Skala on the flat. Good value"

"Room adequate for the price, but air con not great and bed soft and uncomfortable. Staff were very nice, esp Ruth on front desk, breakfast great and available until 10:30 with full spread. Pools excellent and only a short walk to the lovely beach and bars/restaurants"
