"We enjoyed our stay in this tea estate. The nature is beautiful, good offer of tours and spa, staff always friendly and welcoming. The colonial reception is somewhat unique, definitely a great place. And the view from the room is to die for!!
With that said we found the property not up to the standards they claim to have: we had the honeymoon suite, that despite the high price tag came with a tent full of holes and poorly mended. When we checked in there was moldy food in the fridge (again, it happens but for that price it shouldn’t), and there were hair in the shower. We flagged both, they immediately sent cleaning over which removed the moldy food (but didn’t clean the fridge which was dirty) and for the shower the receptionist told us the cleaning staff didn’t find anything (we showed her the picture, so probably they didn’t even bothered to clean the shower). Again, these things shouldn’t happen in a room that goes for 300 USD a night. Restaurant and breakfast is average. Again, given the beauty of the place maybe we had higher expectations."
