Very new property and clean room. The person checked us in was not friendly. We specifically requested a quiet room to sleep because we just stopped there to rest for our long road trip next day. They put us in a joined room with another family with younger kids who cried and screamed and made noise even after midnight. We didn’t go to sleep until 2am, and had to wake up around 6am. It was not a great experience!!

I travel a lot in Amarillo is always my stopping point on my way to Arizona. I love staying at this hotel. It is priced appropriately, very clean, in a great location, the staff is always super sweet and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about this specific Microtel property-it has to be one of the best in the country and I’m not lying. I’ve stated others, and they are not nearly as nice as this, and the staff is first class. I was up gone early in the morning on a Sunday before the breakfast was out and the overnight worker who I saw when I walked in was putting stuff out and had coffee made. I needed that coffee to get moving on my way and for a free hotel breakfast , the standard fare , this one is always good. Not stale or letting stuff sit there too long then it looks like crap. I mean if you want delicious go to waffle House… and I mean that too but solid place Love staying here. Big props to the workers. Pay them more and give them raises.
