"Unique! The hotel building is a one-of-a-kind architectural masterpiece located on top of a cliff. It has a small very private beach surrounded by cliffs. The owner collects antique museum-quality furniture, which is displayed in all public areas, so it feels like staying at a museum. Beautiful views.

"The breakfast was fantastic as was the staff. The spa was well equipped and very relaxing. Two of the three days we used it we had the whole spa to ourselves. The gym equipment was all the latest and in great condition. It was a short distance to the beach for an early morning run and was deserted on the days I ran. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel "

"Fantastic apartment in a great location with 2 small balconies. Located on the first floor.
Beds comfortable. A minor point, shower doors need attention but shower good, great to have 2 bathrooms/ bedrooms.
Check in is 4pm, on arrival at 3.15 we called the office, to be told it still needed cleaning. We returned at 4pm, cleaner turned up at 4.15pm. We dropped off our bags and were given a key. We returned later to a clean apartment. Better if check in process/time was easier. "
"The property and staff were excellent, the breakfast had plenty of choice and everything was well presented and fresh.
The room was clean and air, views from the balcony were excellent.
However the bathroom has obviously been used for a disabled person previously and although very clean was in need to some TLC.
On the way to the property there is a lot of development ongoing, but once inside this was not obtrusive. "
"We had a fantastic family holiday here in September 2025. Great location on the edge of Praia da Rocha and a short walk from Praia do Vau. We love the family friendly atmosphere and accommodating nature of Portugal which made our trip with a 9 month old easier than we expected.
