Freshly drilled woodpecker holes is the side of this tree is the best guess of what I came across here. Woodpeckers are fun to hear when you're hiking through the woods and a cool treat when you actually spot one, but watching this tree 'bleed' after a woodpecker encounter was slightly thought provoking.
Northern end of Alum Creek State Park Reservoir. It's great for smaller boats, kayaks, canoes, SUP's, etc. This evening the water was very calm and a great night to be on the lake.
The disc golf course at Alum Creek State Park is fun and quite challenging. Even more challenging on this trip since heavy rains put parts of the course completely underwater...
