"The room was clean and nicely decorated. The sofa bed needs a new mattress as you can feel the springs digging in when you lay on the bed. Staff were friendly and helpful although there was a mix up over the cost of breakfast for children as we were told, ahead of our stay, that under 12’s were half price but aren’t. "We have stayed here a couple of times , they go above and beyond to make it a pleasant stay, they also include an excellent breakfast plus another nice touch is the tipple in the room ,"

"But even the room is not wide but the room has a style which it is also clean and tidy"

"The room was very clean and comfortable and had all the little extras including ironing board and hairdryer as well as fresh milk for the tea/coffee provided. Also the all necessary toiletries. The staff were also very friendly and helpful."

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely room and good food"

"Lovely pub with rooms. Went for a friends birthday and had a super time. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I’m coeliac and the choice of gluten free food was very good. The fish and chips were excellent! Would highly recommend."

"We stayed here one night as my niece was getting married and having her wedding venue just down the road in the village Hall. The room was lovely, very clean and every thing you would need, to a very high standard. We didn’t eat there so I can’t comment on that."
