"Etwas in die Jahre gekommen dafür aber mit sehr viel Charme. Für einen Kurzurlaub definitiv zu empfehlen. Küche und Kühlschrank durften mitbenutzt werden und der Garten war ein kleines Paradies. Einige Aufstriche beim Frühstück waren leider abgelaufen aber es gab genug alternative Auswahl."

"We were fortunate to have a huge room overlooking the grounds, huge bathroom, the decor was good it's just a shame that it's not been finished off very well, just small things like the bathroom door not fully shutting, toilet seat very loose, the step between the bedroom and bathroom not finished the grouting not completed ,but for what we paid we can't complain. The cleaning was ok until we pulled out the single bed to find crisp packets etc. Very thoughtful with cups , cutlery, bowls etc....

"While close to town center getting there requires a walk up a very steep hill--not suitable for old people. The hotel was helpful in terminating our stay after one day. A well placed hotel for younger people requiring a basic hotel. Breafast was good. Evening menu should be avoided."

"Ok but do NOT book in the summer!! Only one room has air con and the heated towel rail can not be turned off! Even with the fuse removed (owner advised we remove). This made the bathroom ridiculous hot which filtered through to the room. Room wasn’t the cleanest, stains up the walls from coffee (I hope) Aircon in all rooms would make it much more comfortable and the rest could be overlooked. Staff were fantastic though."

"Great place to stay if you’re off to the races, 15mins by car or Taxi. The pub does not provide a breakfast but their evening meals are good, and the staff are friendly. The rooms are at the back of the pub and have ensuite bathrooms, tea, coffee and water bottles in the mini fridge. The linen and towels were all fresh and the bed very comfortable. "

"We have always found our stays at the hotel to be good ones. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, parking plentiful and breakfast offers a good choice of food. The hotel is a busy one and there are signs of wear and tear and so would benefit from a makeover, but that does not take away from it being a hotel well worth booking a stay at. We do recommend this hotel to people."

"The pub is friendly with good food and staff. The separate block which houses the bedrooms looks boring but the bedrooms inside are incredibly beautiful. I enjoyed underfloor heating in the bathroom and the lovely views of the countryside. "

"Honestly could not fault this place at all. Staff very welcoming and attentive. If things were not available in your room they would be more than happy to help and provide eg. Iron and Iron Board. The breakfast was amazing and the fresh pastel del nata was even better than what I’ve had in Portugal! 10/10 recommend "
