"Sadly nobody was around to check us in so we were waiting around in the lobby for a while trying to find a member of staff. When somebody finally arrived she was gruff and unwelcoming. "Well from the welcome to the last minute we could not fault this place. Location fantastic with great views of the River Dee. All the staff weee super friendly even the manager/owner! We checked in slightly early at 13:30pm, had a couple of drinks in the bar to then later on having evening meal all fab. Plenty of choice on the menu and delicious..
The rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. The shower super powerful. Sockets either side of the bed as well.

"My 3rd visit. Great location for Lymm and surroundings. The only thing that let it down this time was the breakfast. When I first visited I was served a great full English meal, plus tea and toast. "Hotel is beautiful, rooms are huge, food is good, however they have the most disorganised staff who is either untrained or just can’t be bothered. "Rooms clean, gym had everything for a usual gym goer, food was really good, but pricy but you get what you pay for.
Staff were polite, weren’t always present at the bar or on reception but when they were there they really friendly.
Rooms weren’t very soundproof but didn’t matter too much.
Jacuzzi was really nice. Overall, would reccomend and visit again. "

"This was a great stay. A beautiful heritage property. Felicia and her Paul were fantastic hosts. We stayed with our son his wife and their 22 month old toddler. They could not have made us more welcome. Felicia was very accommodating about breakfast and other things as our son was running the Cheshire held marathon. The breakfasts were all delicious. Highly recommend this as a place to stay."

"Nice location. Everything fine. Nice to have 2 chairs in a double room, often other places only provide 1. I have no problems with anything here, but if you're looking for points for improving ratings, I'd say TV could have been bigger (couldn't really watch it from the bed in room 6), and it would have been nice to be able to help yourself to breakfast items like cereals, milk, juice."

"Rugby match was being played and the car park was full even though there were security guards on checking in your staying, in the morning the car park was empty.
