"A decent stay altogether. Room was clean and service was good. The gym is small but has the basics, although it's warm there and the water cooler wasn't functioning at the time. The location is ok but still need to walk about 20/25 minutes to the centre of town, but the bus links are good if you don't fancy the walk. Staff were friendly and there's a nice bar open most of the time in the lobby."

It's just a lovely place to spend time. People are great, it's a walkable city and the transport links are amongst the best I've experienced. I just wish folk would stop doing graffiti in their cities which unfortunately is a world wide issue.

Small, walkable, handy for the airport transfer. Alicante retains its Spanish charm. Plenty of traditional places to eat and drink. Some culture to enjoy, a handy tram along the coast, a sandy beach, an old town and a beautiful marina.

We spent 5 days here and it was great! We got the tram to Benidorm for one day, climbed the castle another. Enjoyed the beach, shopping and food and had a very restful time. It was around 22-24 degrees but chilly at night.

Some great places to eat, vibrant harbour and port area. Didn't feel too touristy, not what I expected. Would recommend for long weekend definitely as no car needed , all is easy taxi including airport.

Good city to spend time in. Castillo fantastic, Barrio, old town, good place to roam and shop, waterfront paseo fun, with lots of good eating and stall shopping. Highly recommend as a destination.
